Most of the German Shepherd females from our kennel have Schutzhund titles, Breed Surveys, and Show Ratings. A lot of work goes into the selection, training and showing of our German Shepherd females. Some have been Imported from Germany and some are bred in America from German Stock.

Excellent Temperament and Certified

ALL our German Shepherd Females must have the excellent temperament to be mothers of our German Shepherd puppies. ALL of our German Shepherds have been hip certified either through the SV in Germany or with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals commonly known as OFA., before breeding. Only through selective chosing of breeding partners, do we pick the stable temperament for our German Shepherd dogs and German Shepherd puppies.

How to drive to our German Shepherd Breeder Kennels in Southern California

From the Long Beach area:

91 freeway east to the La Sierra exit. Turn right and go until the road deadends at Cajalco. Turn left and go 3 miles to Lake Mathews Drive . Turn right and go 2.9 miles EXACTLY. On your right, there is a stone wall with an opening through it. This is Gavilan Springs Ranch Rd make a right turn from Lake Mathews drive thru the wall. Go ¼ mile to the 10 mailboxes and turn left. Go up the dirt road to the electronic gate and ring the call button to our German Shepherd Breeding Kennels.

From Los Angeles:

10 freeway east to 15 South (toward San Diego ), to the Cajalco exit. Turn left and go east approx. 7 miles to Lake Mathews Drive . Turn right and go 2.9 miles EXACTLY. On your right, there is a stone wall with an opening through it, this is Gavilan Springs Ranch Road. Make a right turn from Lake Mathews Drive thru the wall. From Banning, Beaumont:

Take the 10 west to the 60 west. At the 215 go south toward San Diego. Take the Cajalco/Ramona Expressway exit and turn right. Go approx 6 miles to Gavilan road and turn left. Go 2.9 miles to Lake Mathews drive, turn right and go 2.2 miles, turn left at the grey stone wall. Go ¼ mile to the 9 mailboxes and turn left. Go up the dirt road to the electronic gate and ring the call button to our German Shepherd Breeding Kennels.

From San Diego:

Take the 215 north toward Riverside and take the Cajalco/Ramona Expressway exit. Turn left, go approx 7 miles to Gavilan road. Turn left and go 2.9 miles to Lake Mathews drive. Lundborg-Land German Shepherd Breeding Facilities

Lundborg-Land German Shepherd breeding kennels are located on 80 beautiful acres in Gavilan Hills, Riverside County, Riverside, California. We are about an hour from Los Angeles and 2 hours from San Diego.

The spacious hills and dirt roads allow us to train and condition our German Shepherd puppies and young German Shepherd adults for the shows and for Schutzhund training. The natural creek running though the property gives the German Shepherd dogs the opportunity to cool off whenever necessary, even in the winter time.

German Shepherd Heaven

Our German Shepherd “horse” barns allow the dogs to have spacious runs of 22′ long and a cozy inside of 12′ x 24′ feet which is their sleeping quarters. Fully bedded on shavings, German Shepherds stay clean and flea free. Our clients have referred to our facility as “German Shepherd Heaven”!

My name is Linda Lundborg and my husband and I started our German Shepherd puppy breeder kennel in California on ten acres in 1992 with imported German Shepherd working line dogs. Our first German Shepherd dogs were my husband’s female Katcha vom Eichendorf, SchH 2, KKl 2 and then, a very young male, Uras vom Holzener-Land.

At that time, we had a Schutzhund field on our property, and we trained our German Shepherd dogs many times a week. I put a “BH”, AD, SchH 1,2 and 3 on Uras. Our first SchH 3 score was 280 and qualified us for the 1993 National Schutzhund Competition. I became one of the elite members of the SCHUTZHUND 3 Club under USCA.

We Breed Tempered Quality Structured German Shepherd Dogs

We bred the “working line” German Shepherd and found that the people who bought our German Shepherd Puppies could not handle the “high drive” energy level they had. They also did not have the sound structure or the temperament so badly needed for pet homes. So we decided to breed a better tempered, more quality structured German Shepherd dog.

In 1993, we went to Germany and purchased Hungarian Sieger VA1-Zank vom Trienzbachtal, SchH 3, IPO 3, FH, KKl 1 and two beautiful Schutzhund titled German Shepherd females, V-Amsel von der Roten Matter, SchH 1, and V-Mande vom Trienzbachtal, SchH 1. As we began showing all over the United States in all of the German Shepherd shows we enjoyed the camaraderie of other German Shepherd breeders, enthusiasts and fans.

In 2001, we had the pleasure of purchasing the infamous VA 1, Lord vom Georg Vicktor Turm, SchH 3, KKl 1, who in 1995 was the Junghund Sieger in the German Shepherd Sieger Show in Germany. He, in turn, went V-11 in 1996 , V-4 in 1997 and V-2 in 1998. Many, many times V-1 rated in every show.

The German Shepherd stud that we use today to complement the beautiful show lines shown above is VA-1 Urban vom Gleisenauer Schloss, SchH 3, KKl 1. He was imported to the United States in 2004 and was the German Shepherd Sieger, VA-1 in the Canadian Sieger Show in 2005 and the United Schutzhund Club of America, German Shepherd Sieger, VA-1, in Reno, Nevada in 2005.
